Tap-only Boom Cards, one skill per deck
Every deck is 20 cards with a picture on every card and two or three big choices. Paid decks are $2 (200 Boom points), bundles are at least 35% off, and there's a free deck in most lanes so you can try one with a student before buying the set. Boom records each student's accuracy, so a deck is practice and a probe at the same time.
Addition and subtraction
The deck I'd start every student on is the free one: count all the pictures, tap the sum. The series then drops the pictures, adds the missing addend, and moves to 20.

Questions teachers ask
Do I need a paid Boom account?
No. A free Boom account can play any deck you buy or any free deck. A paid Boom membership adds student logins and reports, which is where the automatic data comes from. The decks work either way.
Is there audio?
Not yet. Decks with a read-aloud prompt say so in the listing. Audio in a teacher's own voice is on the list; the picture choices mean most cards work for non-readers today with an adult reading the prompt.
What grades?
Tagged K to 2. The skills are K-1 standards, so they fit older students working on those goals too. Nothing on the cards says a grade.
Can I project them for the whole class?
Yes, that's how I use them most. Big buttons and big text were designed for a board. One student taps, the rest watch, then the next one.
Where does the art come from?
Twemoji, an open emoji set (CC-BY 4.0), so every picture is the same style and a kid who learned "apple" on one deck sees the same apple on every deck. Credit is in each deck's acknowledgements.
